Hi everyone,
I'm new to this forum and new with flash. I found this tutorial :

and try to make the same effect for my own name, but the result is kinda different. I attached the file here also. Thank you for your help.

I just set the text as the mask instead of that rectangle... it's a very easy thing to do and I wish you would have just tried a few things till you figure it out. Most of us who give advice here prefer to help people who help themselves.
Buy a book on animation in Flash or find some more tutorials and read them carefully next time.

will disappear then. I want the text to stay visible. What is your
