Thread: ALL GIRLS BOARDING SCHOOL? - Yahoo! Answers

Hey So I really want to go to boarding school and my mom is cool with it and wants me to look into it. And I was wondering if you could help me find one.Here are some requierments -must be an all girls school And it has to have 8th grade - Can be christian/catholic but it does not have to be -no uniform? must be in California or Florida (some place warm) Thanks so much for your help...

Many bookstores have guides and directories to private schools throughout the US, and they are also usually available in public libraries. If you don't want to purchase one, you can jot down school names at the library and then look them up on the internet at home.

It looks like an extremely young teenage girl has been reading those boarding school novels that are full of rubbish and lies. Pieces of 'literature' like that do nothing for the mind and have subsequently ruined your life.

I hope you haven't been reading too many novels that make boarding school sound all rosy and cool. I know 2 women who went to boarding schools and it is nothing like presented in books. Nothing makes up for not being with your family. However, if your family life sucks, then it might actually be a better choice. My Dad went to school at a prep-school where 80% of the boys were boarded. ...

I hope you haven't been reading too many novels that make boarding school sound all rosy and cool. I know 2 women who went to boarding schools and it is nothing like presented in books. Nothing makes up for not being with your family. However, if your family life sucks, then it might actually be a better choice. My Dad went to school at a prep-school where 80% of the boys were boarded. He liked it. Depends on your interests, I guess.
