Hi there , I was part of the wyeth trail back in 2006 and thought it worked really well for me. Its a shame that nearly two years later no one knows the results its a bit frustrating KNOWING that there is something out there that WILL help you but that its not available and who knows why ??? Still hopefully this ACE-031 will be avilable in the not to near distant future .....

Hi Arobbo - welcome to the Board! That's interesting that you were a part of the MYO-029 trial. Do you mind if I ask - what type of MD do you have, and give a little more detail if you would, on the positive results? It is encouraging to talk to one who's actually been through the process. I have type 2A LGMD , I found I got a bit stronger whilst on the trial but remember I don't know if I was given the placebo or the drug so its really hard to know if it was just the placebo effect , the mind have a powerful effect. I like to think I was on the drug and that it would help me to get a bit stronger and keep me at that level , the best thing about it is it helped to grow new ...

Interesting, aphilic. Thanks for letting us know. Do you have any idea why they still have not reported the results? Do you have contact with any of the doctors involved in the study who could clue you in?

Hi everyone I have been trawling the internet in an attempt to find info on MYO-029, the feedback so far seems very encouraging. It looks like ACE-031 is very similar and on the Acceleron web site the Director used to work for Wyeth, so hopefully they are working together I have FSH and would love to hear from anyone who was involved in the MYO-029 trial... cheers P.S has anyone tried the ...

Hi all, I really hope that ACE or MYO will be soon. I have LGMD2A. I heard that theese bodybuilding products dont have any effects. I found some interesting product but it has been only tested on healthy people. Does anyone know more about it. Product is called folstaxan. It suppose to be natural myostatin inhibitor based on fertilized egg yolk.

Just been looking at folstaxan and again would love to hear from anyone who has tried it, may try it myself, what is there to loose! so has MYO-029 been unsuccessfull?

I live in San Antonio, where Celldyne is located (company producing Folstaxan) and literally visited their office toady. They have not produced a batch for distribution yet, due to a problem with a centrifuge and per the CEO they are slated to have a production run June 2nd although they have been giving production dates for over a year now…
