Slice' thanks!! Definately worth the wait. It makes me laugh though.... I was watching the Honda Classic Yesterday and Johnny Miller stops the telecast to tell everyone about Tiger's new move. He finishes with his left hand facing the target, and now 90% of the tour is doing it to copy Tiger... Well my friends, looks like Tiger learned a thing or two from Slicefixer's students, not Hank!!! I ...

Thank you fella's! I really appreciate the sentiments! We're moving back into our home on Wed. and should be all settled in by the middle of next week. Hopefully "things" will return to some degree of normalcy. 4 people, 4 dogs, and 3k sq. ft of stuff crammed into 1.2k sq. ft. for 13.5 months has been a huge pain in the arse. It sure will be nice to have my lil' home office back again. Once...

QUOTE (DukeNasty @ Oct 14 2009, 04:52 PM) QUOTE (mattwood @ Oct 14 2009, 01:36 PM) Duke, that's some good golfin! Why look any further if you're hitting it that well? Your quote for me captures the most important aspect of what I work on with this swing. Once I've set up correctly all I think about is rotating the face open on the backswing and then swinging the butt of the club left. I...

QUOTE (HitEmTrue @ Oct 28 2009, 12:28 PM) I've been working on this swing for almost 2-months now. Having a problem with pulling the ball, maybe 10-yards left on a pitching wedge. But since I'm drawing the ball now (was a slicer before), it ends up even further left. Someone looked at my swing and told me that it wasn't my swing, but my setup. Feet and hips lined up square, but shoulder line aimed left. But...

QUOTE(cloranstreetkid @ Apr 18 2008, 04:11 PM) Slice' and others... I have a philosophical question in regards to the 9-3 drill. I have yet to take it onto the course, but on the range I trap the ball like a madman. I hit those dumpy little range balls 160 with my 7i, and nail the green 8 out of 10 times... with ease. Question: Why not practice the 9-3 until I have it down cold and use it for ALL my iron shots? I'm...

Hi Stu, elmn8r has given you some very good advice. I would ideally like to see a FV as this will let me see the SETUP angles and also see what is happening with the grip..........when you have a look at the rear view you will note that your right hip is a little high, this is having a VERY adverse effect on your pivot action.....when you view the space between your right hip and the beam the "gap" narrows as the hips slide...

QUOTE It's because my feet are open at address with this shot as with all my short-mid irons. I prefer it this way as it helps me get to my left side easier. this method is layed out in hogan's 5 lessons but hogan keeps the rear leg square to target line. you're setting up open with both feet (aligned left of target line) and this conflicts with the proper arc for a shot that starts straight. 1 would tend to swing more out to...

it was very apparent in his pre shot routine there how much he released the club with the body turn... i'd like to get to that point... can you swing a driver consistently enough using the same technique... i've been hitting some very nice iron shots but my driver has been less than stellar since i started trying this new method...

QUOTE (jduncanm3 @ Jun 29 2009, 07:28 PM) hoganfan, im a huge fan of slice and becoming one of TGM too. so far i havent encountered any conflict. i dont think TGM teaches an active release with the hands, and in fact here's a video of the 1st authorized instructor ben doyle working with a student where he clearly advocates using the pivot and not the hands to move the club forward....

QUOTE (bovi @ May 26 2009, 08:31 AM) QUOTE I have been using this swing since Dec 2008 and have good luck with it, but my miss tends to be a block/push to the right (right handed) with no curve. It doesn't happen all of the time, but it regulary shows up. What is the best way to diagnose the problem? My thoughts are: Strong grip, make sure left hip is on the line, keep clubface looking at ball to 8 o'clock,...
