Thread: 98 SRAD Electrical Issue

Started 1 month, 3 weeks ago by Nudbar
Where to start..... The headlight and front turn signals will not come on. The guage cluster shows my turn signals & highbeams are on. My left rear turn signal is staying on solid. If i take the fuse out for my low beam, the lights on the cluster are normal and my rear lights n signals are fine (and obviously no headlight or front signals). does anybody have any idea what it might be/how to fix?...

tell us more about the bike. has it always done this? or did it just start? is everything stock? or do you have aftermarket blinkers? check the white and yellow connecting plug for corrosion, its in the left side of the nose flaring.

From the sounds of it, you should remove all non OEM wires, and start fresh. These bikes are simple to test and wire.

This problem just started to occur in the last 2 weeks, but would happen randomly and now its constantly an issue. The bike has aftermarket turn signals and the rear is an aftermarket with integrated lights.
