Thread: 8 Months Post-Op And.......

Started 1 month, 2 weeks ago by ChoirSparkle
I've lost about 4 pounds since September 26th. That's concerning me. I am 8 months Post-Op. Had RNY Gastric Bypass in February 2009. Is this supposed to happen or am I experiencing a stall again??

You are not stalled if you are losing weight. You are losing weight, therefore you are not stalled. CT

Quite normal. The more you get mental and fixiated about this, the worse it's going to be. Stick to the pouch rules and go about your life sans the scale and scale number. Liberate yourself from both, and you will be feeling much much better, and find that you're doing much much better.

Yep stay off the scale honey. At your point im gonna suggest what you may think is insane.... only weigh once a month. You didnt say if your clothes are still getting big or not? I bet they are. Another thing..... try moving a snack your having during a certian part of the day to another time. It helps!!

Slow and steady wins the race. In addition, you will not have as much of a problem with hair loss. Your body is figuring out how to rearrange what it has, then it will start letting you lose again. Keep the faith. (Or at least that's what I keep telling myself... ha ha ha!)

You are doing great. Don't let the scale steal the fact that you are losing weight and not gaining weight like before surgery. Don't let it steal the fact that you are looking great and getting sexier by the day __________________ Brandy wk 1: 7-wk 11: 3- wk 21:3-wk 31:4 wk 2: 8-wk 12:4- wk 22:1-wk 32: 0 wk 3: 4-wk 13:7- wk 23:2-wk 33:0 wk 4: 3-wk 14:0- wk 24:4-wk 34: 6 wk 5: 4-wk 15:1- wk 25:2-wk 35:0 wk 6: 0 -wk 16:2- wk 26:2-wk...
