Ihave not got anything done to it lately I have been spending most of my time working on my 81 toyota to get it off roadable. I sold my daily driver of a 280zx so Ive been driving my Blazer n so right now I am working to get my VW diesel going so I can save some fuel. then I will get the pup done. i am guessing i will get the pup going in a few months from now.

I am running Trooper rear leaf springs up front, very similar to Toyota rear leaf springs. Kept the overload, it doesn't come into play till axle is near the frame. And rides nice, not too stiff. I am shackle forward, don't worry. Others have gone shackle rear.

The beauty of doing rufs, or any springs you set up by mixing and matching, is that you can set them up exactly like you want. You'll pretty much have to just do some mixing and matching till you get it like you want. It's usually best to start with the top 2 leafs with a milwrap 2nd leaf and take it from there. I wish you'd get some more done on this, I'm very curious to see how it comes out!

Any updates? I think this is a cool little project and has potential. I also think it's a good idea to go with Yota parts.
