Thread: 6 hours one way with drag bars, who's done it?

On my next days off I'm going to a haunted plantation / bed and breakfast in St. Francisville, Louisiana. Going to ride the V-rod. It'll end up being about 6 hours on country(ish) roads to get there. Anyone make a trip like that straight through with super stubby, almost straight drag bars? I'm just curious if it's going to be as bad as I think it will. The longest I've riden straight ...

I've done 6hrs and longer many times on my X.Rode through the Ozarks for probably 8 hrs one time with Luigi and Original Owner.
On the straight roads,just set the throttle lock at 80 and sit up,crack your back a little and let the motorcycle ride you down the highway.

I did the KC trip with drag bars. Actually was nice as the wind was kicking
up and the position of the bars let me lower my head out of the wind. 10
hours the first leg and 6 hours on the second leg.
