The Pioneer fixed the problem! Still can't rip V for Vendetta, but it's probably BD+...the other 2 movies I've tried so far have worked fine. Thanks all for the help, and Alexia75 for the drive recommendation. /tech support...useless.

If it's not the disc and possibly not the software then that leaves hardware. Are you using a laptop that may be old or getting overheated? I too am now trying to find out what is up with 6020. I tried both ways to enter the key to no avail. I even ran it as adminstrator and nothing. I have sent an email to support asking for help.
