Thread: 5 Japanese Masters show up in Oxford, Miss.??

I should perhaps note that there have been a couple of folks from Miss. who have been doing batto and iaido, but they have been connected with our group and our sensei... Honestly, I don't even know if they're still active down there...

There is a kendo demonstration put on at the japanese (cherry blossom) festival here every year. As an interesting note, there is no kendo dojo in fort wayne and the demo is done by a group that also claims to study ninjitsu. I've never actually gone and watched the demo... Not really related to your post directly, but it always amuses me.

random question, why does Kuroda Sensei have an obi on over his hakama?

Dont know but as he's the only one not holding a sword perhaps it was for part of whatever else was demonstrated
