Hi fellas, it was some time ago I posted a project. Here's something that's just been sitting in it's box for a long time. Now I got the urge to finish it. I think it needs some graphics or something to break up the big areas. I'll use the wide custom grille from AMT's kit. i have one of the Harley versions of this kit. when i do it, mine will be an old Wonder bread truck. nice job on the lowering and getting rid of the running boards! Dave

Great looking panel blast some flames on it maybe ghost. Keep us posted.

Some type of graphic would good in that empty space. Maybe an oval shaped speed shop logo with flames or something. Scallops would look good too thats just my .

It definitly needs somthing on sides Ilike the color and lowering job I bought one at car show fleemarket for a quarter . It's all there but they must have used a whole tube of glue on it They painted with a brush real thick and bright pink . they cut out the decals and glued them to the sides (backing paper and all) It's going to be a real challenge I have started to take some stuff off WOW a ...

Beautiful car. Paint looks quite nice atm, if a little...dusty. I think the car seriously needs a roof chop though. Looks a bit top heavy atm.

One of my all time faves!! I think with a big box like this either chop it or go bright! This is bright!(wish I'd chopped it though!)

Thanks for your input guys! I have a bunch of flame and graphic masks that I need to try. Chop the top...hmmm, maybe but I don't think so. Not now that I got it painted. I'm thinking a theme of mid-late 60's surf truck or something like that. Maybe.... richard b - sounds like you really have your work cut out for you. Decals stuck on with the backing paper..... you could try realfire instead of decals. just my Duane

You could do some old shop logos, especially if you're doing a old surf truck. To make it look like the surfer got it from some old shop owner or something.
