Yeah that list is boring as fuck. Where the fuck is Madvillain, Mastodon, Isis, SunnO))), Death From Above 1979, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Lost Children of Babylon, Broken Social Scene, Boards of Canada, Lightning Bolt, and about a thousand others?

Agreed. Agreed. Agreed. Sufjan Stevens is the most overrated twat this side of Nirvana. If we had to accept the nominated in that top 10, Funeral should clearly be at the top. Sad summary, really.

I like and listen to a lot of the stuff on that list. It covers a rather thin scope though, and you're always going to have those sorts of lists, especially when coming out of magazines such as Paste. Nothing that edgy; mostly indie/folk stuff as Iain mentioned. I do agree with Wilco, Radiohead, and Arcade Fire being in the top 10. I look forward to comments from our resident guru
