There's less correlation to the homeless being veterans as there is to the homeless being male or the homeless being chemically dependent but that doesn't make you feel guilty enough.

Now here is a group of patriotic veterans who served their country, and deserve a government subsidized home. The federal government bailed out freddie mac/fanny mae, because of home loans made to people that could not or should not have been borrowed to in the first place.

Many of those vets are losers that would have never made it in life with or without the military. The ones I know were drunks and bums before they went in and they still are.

Homeless veterans in Minnesota have been an issue especially since the influx of Viet Nam cets came home. The numbers have remain constant for over 30 years! Minnesotans, and the US, have done very little to correct this situation and it will become worse if the economy doesn't improve. It sad that we ask our men and women to serve this country, then leave ...
