Thread: .3686 Media Playback

Well I'm fresh out of ideas and the issues with MKV playback have me ready to open the window and chuck the box. Think a quick format might be a cheaper last resort

This is very strange. I have no problems with any MP3 files played from my external USB HDDs. I'm not sure this is due to the firmware, more likely just isolated incidents.

I've seen a comment somewhere else , and they said switching all there cams off , helped with mkv stuttering

anyone know why music files start a few seconds into the song,instead of the beginning. cheers kmc

Hello all, Upgraded to the FW a few days ago but my movie player seems all over the place. First it was still playing the TV channel audio whilst in movie player mode, then after a reboot it would not play any sound on Xvid's, I then tried a .mkv file that started ok but could not turn the subtitles off and it froze for about 30 seconds 3 times through the film Anyone else having problems

I think there is still work to be done in the Movie section. When playing back MOV file movies, I cannot control the Sub-titles, the Box hangs whilst it is playing.
