Thank you very much for the feedback. Any reference data for stock motors? What sort of % gain is the 170-175whp giving? No cams in this application. The cars with this motor will be eligible for SCCA IT road racing soon (need to be 5yrs old). I would like to request that they get classified, and the motor rules are (remembering that if it is not specifically allowed, then it is NOT allowed): ...

We're doing pretty good so far. I remember my 24v put down barely 180whp 190tq with chip intake exhaust. Of course it did have like 180tq at 2000rpm lol! Then again a 1.8t puts down like 230tq with those same mods Modified by kungfoojesus at 6:09 AM 11-7-2009

which power pulley you got? any problems with it?

neuspeed power pulley. no, about 10k miles after install, and running fine.

no need to deck the block if your getting custom pistons. as far as standalone, only motec allows you to keep all stock sensors and throttle body.
