ya well fuck you bro, a 210 mile round trip for a meeting is a bit much on a sunday morning, they could have just as well came to our barnes to let us know whats going on since there arn't that many left.
well from what i am hearing no one believes anything that they are being told by the hall on whats happening with the contract, guess the guy's are to point as to where if they do not see it in writing they don't believe anything told to them by our officer's, you can only screw people over so much before they decide to stop taking shit.
well i heard tonight that DHL wants 295 to throw out the entire old contract and start all over again on a new one, what a bunch of bullshit, anyone thats votes for anything less than what we already have is nut's, we have taken it in the ass from the company and the union, major butt screw from the union, i wouldn't believe anything our officer's tell us and neither should anyone else, i ...
They will have no part of that old 2 tier contract. It is the DHL National Master for everyone. That is their stance, what is your chance? DP/DHL SUCKS
our chance?, well hopefully the rest of the guys left show some balls, after the shit pulled on us, after the union officers keeping that may 20th cut off date to themselves when they did not have to if they did not want to, i think they are going to have a hard sell trying to make any of the guy's believe what they say, the guys left arn't noob's and are pretty feed up with the bullshit, ...
gee wiz now they have a buzzer with a intercom at the union hall so you can't get in if they don't want you to, WTf thought the member's were paying for the place and now we have to have permission to enter?, someone must be worried about something .
Just let you know DHL Gobal Forwarding is doing are work as is smart mail too! SO if we as Teamsters don't stand together and stop this I think end will be soon and I don't want that I have been a teamster for 20 years and there are fewer union jobs now than 20 years ago so lets fight for are work back show these Germans they can't F with Americans
This whole thing is setting the thread on fire. Good luck. Regards, Louise Pret travaux

the member's of 295 have heard nothing about this, guess it only applies to the people under the national, our new hires at 295 only start out at 11.00 a hour as it is now, which is what i started out at 20 yr's ago, some that had taken the severance have come back to work for DHL as part time for that amount in N.Y.

QUOTE (The_Silent_1 @ Oct 12 2009, 07:32 PM) they've always had a buzzer and an intercom you moron I'm not a DHL employee, but I read an article on Forbes.com titled: Deutshe Post DHL's Doctor Fixit dated 10/08/09. This new chief executive Frank Appel talks of the mistake of throwing out the management at Airborne after purchase, was a mistake.
