Thread: 24p out of sync

Hey gang, I shot an audition video on the Panny dvx100 at 24p. I edited the project with a 24p editing timebase, but the final product looks jerky and has jaggies in the details (lines, etc.) When I created a new sequence I changed the timebase to 29.97 and pasted the cut video into the new sequence and now the playback looks smoother. However, the audio is out of sync and I can't ...

After some research I figured out that using Cinema Tools within FCP to reverse telecine the clips solved my problem. When I set up the project I forgot to change the editing timebase to 29.97 and left it in 23.98. I didn't get any responses though and that's rather disconcerting....
