It's going to be a HUGE fun mindless popcorn flick.. And unlike Michael Bay.. atleast Roland tries to have fun with his material and wants to entertain. Even when he fails it's sorta fun and when it comes to his big end of the world epics he's in on the joke and knows exactly what he's making.

Call me morbid or whatever but i kinda liked seeing the one pilot end up killed in the gears of the door. Never really liked that guy for ya seemed nice but too nice people seem to have secrets too me.

Because going out of your way to pay for a movie and watching it in a theatre and watching something on TV for free is totally different.

Well it was entirely too long and logic was punched in the face like a 40-year-old boxer that could no longer see the punches coming, but it delivered on the special effects and the acting was good (except for Platt -- although maybe it was the writing), so I guess it was okay. I didn't really buy Glover as the head cheese, but it didn't really bother me. And for some reason I was never convinced that the people in this movie felt...

wow i heard about the ending and what not... that sounds incredibly campy, and i don't think i could sit through it.
