Haven't gotten official results yet but I know that from Triangle D. Castrilli passed his nidan and Z. Cox passed his ikkyu. The TKI 'A' team placed third in the team comp. I wasn't able to make it up there so I didn't get to test for sandan as I had planned. Glad to hear the Memphis people passed. Oh, and I will post the official results on the SEUSKF web page once they get sent to me.

Seng-Soo Kim (sp) took first in mudansha, and our own Sanghun Chung took 2nd. Charlotte's A team took 2nd place teams to George Kendo Alliance A (and it was a pretty close match too, very exciting). Also, Michael Jackson (shido washinkan, formerly VT) passed his shodan test.

Charlotte's dojo looked good, they certainly should be proud. This was my 2nd tournament and although I didn't do well, I enjoyed it. I also received some encouraging advice ...

I had a great time meeting new friends as well as meeting old friends for the first time. I got to meet Ahmed, Turbo, Stroud sensei, and few other KW lurkers. And as always hanging with Sam80 is a blast.
