Thread: 2009-2010 Champions League

Started 4 months ago by BarcaTickets
I have just been watching the 2009-2010 Champions League draw and some interesting games. My thoughts inititally: - Seems a good draw for all British sides. Avoides Real Madrid and Inter Milan. - Man Utd have the long distance travel group - The Barcelona group looks tough for the teams in that group. Might not be so easy for Inter and Barcelona. Come on the English sides.

It'll be an interesting tournament as the English teams seem to have become weaker with Real and Barca both looking strong again. _________________ Talk about the Environment |

I think Real Madrid and Barcelona will go at least to the semis. Bayern looks good after they get Arjen Robben.

I think Real Madrid and Barcelona are very strong teams in this season. Real Madrid bought a lot of great players and Barcelona have perfect team from last season.

My initial thoughts regards Barcelona might struggle are coming true If they do not win away to Rubin Kazan then they could be in real truble considering the other 2 quality teams in the group. I am suprised at how much Liverpool are struggling. I wouldn't be surprised though if the Pool suddenly won the rest of their group games and went through and to th semis.

Barca will come good. Ibrahimovic is looking very good for them, although they'll have to get past Chelsea who are my faves for the title this year.

You're going to have to forgive me for the intrusion but i think Real Madrid is going to win the Champions League this time around. With the addition of Cristiano Ronaldo and a couple others, this galaxy of stars is finally going to bring the trophy back to the bernabéu once again.
