my 2004 CHEVROLET CAVALIER LS SPORT speedometer is stuck at like 100-110. i had this problem before and i disconnected the battery. it went back down for awhile but now its stuck again!!! how do i fix this?

The fact that you had to disconnect the battery to fix the problem tells you its an electrical issue. You need to find the sensor that controls the speedo and replace it.

i work for a chevy dealer in the parts dept. stuck speedometers are a very common complaint in cars as well as pickups. the remedy is that you remove the bezel from around the cluster assembly and there are 4 screws holding the cluster in. the cluster comes out as a one piece unit and you unplug the electric wire from the backside of the cluster. i order rebuilt clusters every week and if sold over the counter to someone who wants to put it in...
