Thread: 2003: Better than stock sport suspension?

Dear All, Have 2003 with stock sport suspension package. Would like to upgrade suspension for street (good roads in Raleigh) and maybe VERY amateur tracking. Suggestions? Thoughts on the FM level 2 package compared to the Bilstein stock sport package. Many thanks.

I ran the FM Stage 1 suspension for about a year with a different ARB package (RB 1.125" front bar/14mm MazdaSpeed rear bar) and found it to be a significant step up from the Bilstein-based Hard S suspension you are referring to. With the shocks set at 2/2, it was a competent, more comfortable daily driver and when I dialed up the shocks for autocross, they responded very well. Good grip, ...
