Curious on some input, things to do/change... I have done this a few times in other cars, but i have never been great.. this 14.96 is the best I have ran in this or any other car.. seemed respectful to me. Any tips or tricks to go faster, please let me know.. Car and Mods = 1995 Sport coupe, DOHC 5speed, 55mm TB , MPX Udp , OBX LTH , Ported/Port Matched Intake, Prothane Street Inserts, Custom ...
first off very clean engine bay the aluminum vac lines look great but unfortunatly dont make you any quicker but hey you got 2nd place what RPM did you leave at and shift at and did you spin tires or chirp n go
A simple one is going to a different track! I ran my slowest at dragway 42 when I was living in Ohio. Drive up to Norwalk/summit and you'll probably gain a few tenths. Dragway 42 was even worse for me than Thompson Raceway Park, even though Thompson is 500' higher. http://www.thompsonracewaypark.com/ I hope they have restored the track at Dragway 42 since I went some 5-6 years ago. Nice ...
what tires were you running? practice practice practice. work your 60' and see what happens. .1 = .15 roughly. so making that 2.25 60' a 2.05 60' should shave almost .3 from your et making a 14.96 roughly a 14.7

You running full weight?
inflate those tires to something higher. they aren't designed for drag racing. the sidewalls are really stiff, 12 psi probably didn't do much versus running 22 psi. you need to dyno tune the car with adjustable cam gears and something to tune fuel with. your backhalf time of 5.3 seconds indicates you are probably making around 135-140 whp. shift out of 1st and 2nd at 7500-7600, and depending ...
