Thread: 1. Is there really a trinity - Topix

Started 2 months, 1 week ago by JeanPaul

Where was Almighty God? To understand Jesus as God on earth praying to His Father in heaven, we need to realize that the eternal Father and the eternal Son had an eternal relationship before Jesus...

No He prayed to his Father you do not understand the doctrine you are being critical of God is a trinity of persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Father is not the same person as the Son; the Son is not the same person as the Holy Spirit; and the Holy Spirit is ...

AND HOLLIE look here Sources, authorities and "historical experts" quoted by anti-Trinitarians are invalid! In fact, they often quote themselves as their own expert! Kind of like calling yourself as a witness to your own trial! Jehovah's Witnesses, for example have thousands of publications to chose from! Many of their examples of pagan Trinitarian gods, are nothing more than picking 3 of that ...

No GodNeeded wrote: <quoted text> Well there you go, We have to agree to disagree because the bible is about as valid proof of God to me, as Alice in Wonderland is proof of the Mad Hatter. There were 1000's of God claims before Jesus. Jesus is just the latest in the claims. Sorry you feel this way. I will keep you in my prayers.

Jesus explained this by saying 'I and the Father are one.' There are not two seperate or distinct hands. The Father's hand is the Son's hand. The Father's sheep are the Son's sheep. They are all kept in ONE hand. The Father is in Jesus and the Son is in...

Forgive me Boni, but you question that you said I refuse to answer is a dumb question and didn't think it deserve an answer but because you doubt it here you go. of course I believe Jesus is the Son of God. You quote 1John 5:6 but ignore the next verse. You are not reading in context. The three witnesses are in agreement with each other. Now...

“In Greek if you leave off the article from theos in a sentence like the one in John 1:1c, then your readers will assume you mean “a god.” The kind of sentence we are dealing with is one with be-verb, where the predicate noun (theos) is in the same noun form (the same “case”) as the subject noun (ho logos). In this subject (“normative”) form, the definite article is really indispensable for making the noun definite. Its absence makes...

Today, I searched my internet history in order to dig up this thread again (since I never bothered to bookmark it) and then I found out why the jackals took a break...
