Remember back in the day when Friday nights would roll around and you would monopolize the TV for two hours of TGIF fun, not moving until 20/20 came on? Those were simpler times when you were still too young to go terrorizing the neighborhood or try to buy a six-pack with a fake i.d. Back then, D.J. ...

I wish it would be something like Get Smart or That Girl, but they ...

I would hope GP is in primetime so I can sample it more before I get more DVD's. GI wouldn't be ...
Do the ratings reflect who's taping these shows vs. actually watching them? I have no idea who is watching Lopez because as I read through these threads, no one here seems to be.
I was checking in to see if my favorite NAN show "Home Improvement" had been put back at a reasonable hour. But it hasn't. And I'm not going to tivo it. <sigh>
I swim early in the mornings so as the line ...

Wow! Nice lineup and its pretty packed. I wonder if there is a site that shoes the lineup for all the TV stations. More like an online cable guide probably.
Just to note, Ted and Scrubs are all-new on Jan. 1. Some people asked me. So two new Ted's that night and one Scrubs. And for that week, three new Ted eps and two new Scrubs episodes since they are new on Dec. 29 too.
GEN-TV Executives Patricia Meyers-Johnston (Head Of Creative Development and Programming) and Matthew Smith (President Of The Entire Network) sat down with Hollywood Now's Beth Cooper-Miller for a very eye-opening interview and here is the third part of that wonderful interview. Cooper-Miller: A lot of your schedule this year was built on shows that other networks cancelled, for exmaple "Without A Trace" and...
I know that its not gonna happen but I was just thinking since NBC comedies are preempted for SNL next week and Fox is in reruns, it might have been cool for ABC to run reruns of the wed comedies from 8-10 on Thurs, maybe run the pilots of all and an extra MF. Maybe some of the NBC comedy people would try them out and they'd pick up some new viewers. GA could run at 10p. I know they need to run run GA and PP reruns to make back some money...
I'm a huge fan of legal dramas - The Practice, Boston Legal, Ally McBeal to name a few - but The Deep End sounds weak compared to them. I get the point - new lawyers are all fighting to make a name for themselves in a prestigious law firm, but still, how will they manage to keep viewers entertained each week? I'll definitely be tuning in, though - wouldn't be surprised to see it do well on Thursdays at 8pm, especially with no...

RUMORS ABOUT TV SHOWS GETS EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH PRESIDENT OF YTN! Key: RTV = Rumors About TV Shows; YTN = President of YTN RTV: First, the question everybody has been dying to know, will Dr. Heart be renewed beyond its initial 22 episodes? YTN: At this point in time, we do not have an answer. Dr. Heart could always do better, but its doing as well. RTV: Ok, sounds fair. The Streets performed poorly and recently ended. Do you believe the...
Wow. 3rd Rock must have really bombed. I knew it didn't do well though so not surprisied. Weekends sure aren't as good as they used to be...they're airing Married With Children again today. I like when they have stuff like Beaver, Hogan's Heroes, etc that don't get as much exposure in blocks on the weekend.
There was no shortage of truly great TV shows this decade -- but there was no dearth of really bad TV, either. From talking babies and singing-and-dancing casino moguls to ill-conceived celebrity ventures into reality programming and scripted fare ... and whatever category you want to put the inexplicably enduring According to Jim in, here are our picks for the worst TV the networks offered up to us in the last 10 years. 40. Studio 60 on the...
I agree about "DALLAS". Thise later episodes were, for the most part; boring or dumb, or let's face it, just plain stupid. (that whole story where J.R. was in the mental hospital come painfully to mind).
