Really like his mesureables. If he gets to around 6'1" and 220 lbs around his junior year, he'll be awesome with that 4.45 speed. Someone to really look forward to in the coming years.
from earlier this month....

Q&A with Hopewell running back Rushel Shell
By The Tribune-Review
Thursday, November 6, 2008
Hopewell running back Rushel Shell finished with a game-high 237 yards and two touchdowns on 26 carries in Hopewell's first-round playoff win against Greensburg Salem last week. It was his fourth consecutive 200-yard effort....
He is starting to remind of a young Maurice Clarett, especially with his
size and strength. The only difference is Clarett wasn't as fast as this
kid is and I dont believe he earned his first offer as he commited to Notre
Dame as Sophomore I believe. This kid is going to be special.

Supposedly has tosu on his short list. Keep in mind he's only a FRESHMAN IN HIGH SCHOOL. Also, he has said that Terrelle is one of his favorite athletes.
Well he is doing his best to not pick any favorites till he is older, which i think is a very good decision. but he is a big fan of pryor and therefore ohio state. but he needs to keep his head on straight and wait till he is older to pick his school.

Quote: CLASS AAA: West Allegheny beats Hopewell, 36-28 Saturday, November 28, 2009 By Michael Sanserino, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Rushel Shell won the battle of the running backs, but Mike Caputo won the only battle that mattered. . . . Based on a very scientific eyeball test done by me . Like I mentioned not a cut on the kid, he is fantastic! I was just saying after seeing him I was thinking he was upper 5'9 maybe 5'10". Was the 5'11" and offical camp measurment? If so I stand corrected.

Do you think he's the best player in PA, regardless of class? In terms of the impact he can make, it appears so. Koyack is going to be highly rated and he is a great player, but Shell just plays a position that will get him more notice. As far as...
