Not a bad film and I have mixed feelings. On one particular screen play, he shows good burst and he doesn't appear to loose much speed off of his cuts. He needs to work on his speed but the power is there, as well as good pad level at times. It seems to me he has the tools, but just needs to put them all together. But I did just forget that was his sophmore film...pretty impressive.
Love what I see here...The tackles he is breaking are not arm tackles...These guys are popping him and he is bouncing off of them always keeping the legs moving and going forward...The defenses seem to always have a beat on him...It is taking 2 to 3 guys to bring him down tho...
Will be interesting to see how this one develops early on during the 2010 recruiting season, but I have him behind ...
That film doesn't do Eric any justice. The kid is a legit sub 11 sec 100m guy, doesn't have great acceleration but his top end speed is awesome.
Love to see him in S&G but it won't happen
edit: If anyone as a chance to watch the Hoover/ Licking Valley game, Eric tore up Storm Klein and his D for almost 200yds with 3tds.

Quote: Sunday Special: Howard hits the books, hoping to qualify for Div. I offers By Todd Porter CantonRep.com staff writer Posted Dec 05, 2009 Now that North Canton Hoover running back Erick Howard has two consecutive Mr. Football awards to add to his glowing high school football profile, what is next for the record-setting player? Howard has not verbally committed to a FBS college because he isn?t NCAA Clearinghouse qualified yet. Howard...
If he does it, then all the more power to him. But at what point does it become setting him up for a very difficult role of staying eligible through college? Some people are whispering that he might go the prep school route, which sounds like a win win situation for me. Get him out of his current situation and to somewhere where he can truly just focus on football and school. Come out of that successful, then he really will have a good...

I agree that Howard is a really talented kid, but I just don't see room in this fairly small class for 3 RB's. It doesnt make sense. You have Saine, Herron, Hall, Berry,...
