1080p is the best quality possible,   It is how well a picture comes in.

But is 1080p worth the extra hundred dollars

Nope. At 32 inches, you won't be able to tell the difference.

1080p is great , its great for blu-ray and some games but most PS3 game are 720p.

For a TV that size 1080p will make absolutely no difference unless you plan on using it as a computer monitor, so either save the $100 and get the lower res TV, or save up more and buy a bigger one where 1080p will make more of a difference.

32" is too small to tell.  i just bought a 32" Samsung 720p and it looks amazing.  You will be satisfied.

Listen to the guys who say no. You won't notice a difference unless you are right up against it.

Save that extra hundred dollars and buy a new game or movie or something. 1080p is useless at the resolution, and even WITH stuff that is 1080p native you won't notice a difference unless you're right next to the TV, having sex with it.

1080p comes into play on tv's over 40", less than 40" go 720p you cannot tell the difference and you need to be feet away not inches to tell the difference. Good research site is AVSforums.com, google it.
