Thread: 1000cc 255lph PTE6765 s2k leaning out at 470whp

Started 3 months ago by Curturbo
This is a 100% stock motor and I know the dangers of this so lets keep that out of discussion. I'm running out of fuel at 7000rpm at 15lbs on e85. It is stock fuel lines and rail, i know this could be a problem, but i just got off the phone with inlinepro and they said they have been well past that with the same setup. It has a walbro 255lph, FIC 1000cc, Tubular manifold, 3.5" dp, 3"...

if your fuel pressure is on the low side thats all i would expect out of 1000cc injectors and e85 its making 475hp at 7000 rpms at 15 lbs.. what happens if you run only 12-13lbs, does it run out at 7000 or can you pull all the way to 9000? I assume the car would make 475ish at 9000 rpms on 13ish-lbs if it make 475 at 7000 rpms with 15lbs.

it's definitely fuel supply issue. I couldn't understand why this honda is so much different than the rest that i can get around 550+ out of 1000cc bosch low impedence and walbro 255lph and e85 when with this having "900cc" FIC high impedence and a walbro 255lph and e85. I hadn't done this in the past, but i rewired the pump to 14.5v and got another 25hp but still doesn't seem right ...

I agree, you should be able to support that power level and more with 1000cc injectors. What fuel pressure regulator does the car have (OEM I assume)? From my own experience having started with a Vortech setup, smaller diameter pulleys, EMS, fuel system upgrade. Then going turbo with even larger injectors, I can make over 500RWHP with smaller injectors than you are running, and the ...
