Not surprised Rockets lost. Although they did keep it entertaining during the last bit. Oden got 7 TO and i have him on my fantasy

Lakers had me scared for a sec. We were up by 15 and we let the Clips back in and they almost had the lead at the start of the 4th quarter. We have to finish off bad teams early. Artest's regular season debut was great. He passed whenever he could and he did miss some wide open 3's, but he should adjust. Bynum played well. I don't expect him to score over 20 each game, but he showed he could if ...

Yeah those 8 teams sounds about right. Although the order might be hard to predict. Lakers Spurs Jazz Mavs Blazers Nuggets Hornets Phoenix

*bleep* the Lakers. 1. San Antonio Spurs 2. Portland Trailblazers 3. Los Angeles Lakers 4. Denver Nuggets 5. Dallas Mavericks 6. New Orleans Hornets 7. Utah Jazz 8. Pheonix Suns Spurs are coming out of the West. Sucks for the Clips about Blake Griffin. Damn cursed franchise.

You really think the Blazers would have a better record than the Lakers?

AtoChansu replied 2 months ago
No more Houston. =(

quote Stagnant_Progression You really think the Blazers would have a better record than the Lakers? Yes. Ariza > Artest Plus, I think the Blazers are gonna be ridiculously good this year as long as they stay healthy.

Froggy replied 2 months ago
I can understand the Spurs being ahead cause of what they could do, but the Blazers ahead of the Lakers? Nah, it wont happen.

Saevus replied 2 months ago
i don't think they'll have a better record than the lakers but they'll most definitely post a better showing than last year, both regular and post-season. better record than lakers? no. legitimate contenders? for sure. with the acquisition of a seasoned miller, roy and aldridge having another year of experience under their belts and a taste of the playoffs, and oden turning into a goddamn ...

Thunder was hanging in there for the entire game. Close call and it's a little too close for world champions. We gotta take care of teams we are suppose to beat.

Yeah it was definitely a weird moment. I've never seen that many angry Laker fans.

quote Sapphorous http://www.nba.com/2009/news/12/10/allstar.garcia/index.html Lol at McGrady on pace to starting on the WC All-Star team. Obviously hasn't done anything at all to earn the votes yet, but as a longtime fan of his I can't help but want this to happen. Wow. Brandon Roy isn't even a top 5 guard in All-Star voting?

But Kwame has never been more than a benchwarmer. Yes, Oden does have time, but the Sam Bowie comparisons are still legit, and that's more on the Blazers front office. Of course they had no way of knowing this would happen at the time.

Lakers fans are a bunch of idiots. I lived in LA too, and most of the ppl there are usually not like that. booing your own team, Throwing foam fingers cuz your team is losing? No class... The lakers got outplayed, even Kobe knew it at the end. Some people just have no holiday spirit, and itgoes to show how if one person decides to act a fool and throw shit on the court, how many weak minded people feel like they have to follow suit....

Nice, now Brandon Roy will get more rebounds per game. =D Fantasy wishes aside, I pity the Blazers. At least they have a superstar and a star left. Not so serious, unlike the Rockets.

quote MJ12 L0rD Quietly dominating in Memphis, the most irrelevant team in basketball. Haha what? I care about Memphis more than atleast 1/3 of the teams in the league. Mainly because that club has a future, especially if they are able to keep most of their talent around. Gay will most likely take off after this season, but they'll still have Mayo, Conley, Gasol, Randolph (maybe), and Thabeet. I think that club could be decent in a few...

The Spurs really showed their age last season although they are a different team in some aspects. Still though, Duncan hasn't gotten any younger. The Nuggets are easily the Lakers biggest competition in my opinion. This message was edited by Mr Matthews48 on Nov 07 2009.
