Look what happened in Delaware, 450 employees laid off at three slot parlors and revenue was off 30%. Governor Minner would not even allow separate buildings for slot smoking areas! AND she's a so-called Liberal!

This is America. Smokers rights have been taken away! Now Casino workers want to take it all away from us! They should abide by their workplace rules and not try to change them!! The only change they should make is a different job. Atlantic City casinos spent millions of dollars to upgrade their casinos and make it a place to visit and enjoy. These casino workers don't care if half the people do ...

Casinos, like all industries, are required to protect their workers from job-related health risks. Ever hear of OSHA? the minority smokes. You talk about freedom. What about the right to clean, healthy air, for everyone.

Can't wait for them to ban smoking in the casinos. It is long overdue - it is absolutely disgusting when you come home and find all of your clothes stink of tobacco smoke - who pays for the cleaning of these clothes? Certainly not the smokers. What about NON-SMOKERS RIGHTS? And, while they are at it, smokers should pay a much higher health insurance premium.

Again, maybe you dont notice since your sense of smell is probably 90% gone. You have no right to force your smoke onto others in a public place. That's the bottom line, and that's why smoking bans are flourishing and will continue to...

I also agree with other comments here. Ban smoking in the casinos and even the non-smokers will have no where to gamble. It's not about winning and losing. This isnt a game. It's about health. All emotional responses because you have yet to provide ONE SHRED OF EVIDENCE THAT SHS IS HARMFUL. Go on with your rants about smelling like an ashtray or how kids start at 5. Thats not the argument. You are paving a slippery sloap when you are for the ban of a LEGAL product that has no PROOF to cause harm. Trans fats...

Just make it national and get it over with, rather than doing it bit by bit, town by town and state by state.
