My dogs protect us from intruders and other threats - they could hold their own against a pit so I'm not worried. But thanks for your concern and same back at you.

Fine people who have dogs on chains. In Austin, TX they have passed a law that your dog can not be tethered to an object longer than a certain period of time. The chain has to be long enough and has to have a proper harness. Go to the back woods and ghettos and start fining these people, let them know that hey if you have any dog, it has to be treated right, and that cost money.
