We had our puppy shipped from Baltimore to La Guardia. Then it was supposed to go to Providence, but then they shipped it to Atlanta. Then they proceeded to not get the dog on the next flight to Providence and this was in the summer with no food and I doubt anyone gave him extra water, so I can feel your pain.

The answer is quite simple, get on a plane and go to pick up the PUPPY in person. Take the puppy on a carry on that can fit under your seat. Do not ship an expensive dog in a plane cargo. I think the public is misinformed as far as the safety of a five pound animal being able to breath in jet fuel and 90 degree heat and live through it. You wouldn't send your most precious items in cargo, don't ...

by Puppy in the plane
When I went to pick up my pure bred, papered 5 week old puppy, I went in person. Okay, I had to pay for the plane flight and the $50 puppy fee, but, my puppy went on the plane with me. Once the plane started I had to take the puppy out of my lap and and put her under my seat in the puppy carrier, but she made it alive. I love my dog, she is like my daughter. Who would put your child in a cargo ...

My puppy is to ship via Delta from South Africa. The breeder assures me he has has very good luck with Delta, and uses them all the time. They do put in place a ban on shipping animals if the weather is too hot. My concern is why do they care if it is too hot if the animals are being shipped in an air controlled environment? Has anyone ever experienced an international transfer of an animal with ...
