data tracking | Thread profile

hi all.. I have a VX6900 and I've got the Verizon 29.99 data plan (5gb cap) is there any programs that will track data usage? I'll be using the phone quite a bit for surfing the web and IM and just want to keep track of how much data im bringing down.. im not worried about talk time, I spend very little time actually talking lol.. thanks..

have you tried spb gprs data monitor? i like it...too bad it doesnt work with nontouch screen mobile devices...

@ptoribio I use Efficasoft GPRS Traffic Monitor. Works fine with my Smartphone.

You should be able to enable it in any home screen by taking the plugin code out the XML and putting it into your preferred XML home screen. You can also do this using Facade that allows you to add plugins to your home screen, but that's another application you'll need to be running. If you want to post your home screen and the Efficasoft one, I'll see what I can do for you....

A re-install fixed it. It was because I had flashed a new ROM and did a restore from a previous one. It works perfectly fine, it was an issue I should have thought about when restoring.

tnx guys, I downloaded the spb trial last night before work.. exactly what im looking for.. really just wanted to check what a normal night of browsing around ect totaled up to, Verizons data plan is capped at 5gb and with what im doing at the moment theres no way im getting there.. well until I figure out how to get flash to work..
