> I have used them for the last 4 or 5 years and it unbelievable how the deer flock to them. I took a 2 acre food plot last year planted 1 half in buck forage and the other half in just regular oats and it was a daylight and dark difference between the 2. The buck Forage were eaten down while the regular oats were about 2-3" taller.

> There is a difference between the buck forage oats and regular oats. Other than the price of course. I have seen deer walk past other blends and mixes, wheat or whatever to get to the B.F.O. > A couple of years ago I experimented with 3 types of Oats...I planted 3 seperate plots (in the same field) of BF Oats, Bob Oats and Naked Oats from the NWTF. My deer liked the Naked Oats the best (they are very expensive) and then Bob oats basically came in 2nd. I will just plant the Bob oats from now on.
