Aaron Ralston & Bill Jeracki- Both guys cut off limbs to survive. I'm not sure I could ever do that. I know of a man who threw a small campfire log at a bear's head to turn the animal away from his children, and ended up killing it. He was a world war veteran of course. I also know of a man around here who found a rabid bobcat on his front porch, and rumbled with the son of a bitch. He got bit and had to get a rabies shot, but he grabbed it by the throat, slammed it down and ...

I once wrestled a very elusive trouser snake. After an epic battle(the likes of which mankind has never seen), I was finally able to defeat the wretched beast and send back into the abyss from which it emerged, my Levis. I tell the tale to whoever will listen, most just stare.

I once jumped in Montauk with nothing on and attacked an 18' Great White, it was not that bad a fight. I just stuck my fingers in his eyes, then picked him up and body slammed him. He tried to swim away but I chased him about 20 feet down which then turned into a wrestling match, until i pulled dhim up to the surface and threw him on the boat. It was a little impressive I guess, but nothing ...

When I was in Vietnam in 1969 I killed 2 VC in hand to hand combat with a k-bar.Something I'm not really proud of but it was them or me! I thank the Marine Corp for their great training.
