I've got a 2000 Specialized Enduro that has been a good bike for a longtime for me. It's starting to get to the point where it is questionable ifI should continue its upkeep. My dream bike would be a Santa Cruz Hecklerbut there are no local shops that carry it. The local bike shop has an '05Enduro for $2000. I've been avoiding it because of the temptation... I too have been dreaming about a heckler. I've recently verified that myLBS can order a complete 06 for less than 1600. Check with Sept 06 issue ofmountain bike action for a huge story on the heckler... Livin in Phx andI'm thinkin this is my best bet.

I really love those Hecklers they are awsom, if your heart says Heckler youneed to get one.As another option the Ibex Asta is sweet. Like the Heckler it can take abeating & smiles the whole time.
