didn't graduate in canada, only went up to grade 9, and back then i was never the type who studied hard, straight Cs if you know what i mean. i went back to hk, i knew that if i don't work hard i'll end up a begger or worst, but i never thought the marking scheme would be this harsh...when i recieved a B in both chinese and commerence in the mock exam, i knew already then that i'll atleast ...

Let me explain somethings about how things work in the US (can't say for Canada). If you come to the US, there is a test called the GED--this stands for General Educational Development. If you are at least 18 years old, and you can pass this test, you are given the equivalent of a high-school diploma here in the US.
