Did anyone pick this up? there was a lot of positive feedback on the first issue, was just curious to know if youre still checking for this. IMO i think this issue wasnt as strong as the first one, but it still shows a lot of promise.

I did. I enjoyed it quite a bit. The main story has a slow pace to it, but that doesn't bother me, and we got to learn a lot about the current house this issue. Jill Thompson's art was amazing as usual, but I have to say that I really like Luca Rossi's art as well. His surreal details in each panel are just fun to look.

While it certainly didn't horrify like the first issue, it did establish that the tales in this new House of Mystery will have a lot of range genre-wise. I won't complain if the tales run the gamut from traditional horror (issue #1) to comico-fantastic (issue #2). In the long run, a good range will probably keep ...

I enjoyed number two; my experience has been tht a strong first issue is often followed by a lesser issue two; not always, but often enough, and that seems to be the case here. Thining back to the first Sandman arc, the first stoy was intriguing, but not particularly engaging: they were building a foundation. Hopefully, that's whatwe'll find here. Wasn't a bad, or even a discouraging second ...
