Hi,I am at my wits' end with a problem that I've been experiencing. I have a GX1 small form factor PC that I recently bought. I am trying to use it as a firewall/router, but whenever I try to use a PCI NIC after about an hour it just stops working. I then tried Windows 98, Ubuntu Linux, and the same thing occurs. I have a similar problem. GX1 SFF (reported as GX1 400L+) with onboard sound and nic, but nic and soundcard are NOT seen by DOS or linux. -Dell 16-bit diags reports something like missing? or disabled PCI bridge?? -3c90xcfg.exe says no nic installed. -BIOS A07(downgraded from A10 where it also did not work) -sound and nic ENABLED in BIOS -tried with ACPI on and off -cleared NVRAM (both bios and ...
