I, for one, am utterly shocked by this news. As we all know, the invasion of Iraq had nothing whatsoever to do with assuring a reliable source of oil. To discover now that the US was involved in assuring a sweetheart deal for major oil companies is just so confusing.

Fortunately, the USA doesn't use much of the stuff.

Shame Iraq rejected it today..........

Well, seems like the ages old saying applies here; "To the victor, go the spoils of War." It is our reward for being successful! In removing Saddam, and helping Iraq become a strong, free, prosperous country. Just like us.
