injectables question??? | Thread profile

If AF shows tomorrow like i think it will... is it too late for DH and i to decide to go ahead w/injectables for next cycle? I know you have to go in for a consult...Can you do that on CD1 or is this something i should have already done? We were on the fence about it but i think we have decided to go ahead with it.TIA TTC since April 2007 ~Missed M/C 10/04/07 11weeks 3days~ cycle #1 ...

In terms of the logistics of ordering the meds and getting a tutorial on how to adminster the injections, it shouldn't be too late - most cycles start around cd 3-5, I think - mine started on cd 4 - and medication can be overnighted. Not sure from your post whether your RE has brought this up to you or not - it is definitely something my RE wanted to talk to me about before just starting, ...

We decided to do injectibles in the office at my CD 8... a combo Clomid and injectibles cycle when the Clomid resulted in little to no response. ~Lawren~ TTC#1 with PCOS IUI #1 = Cancelled :( No follicle growth IUI #1.1 5/25 = BFN IUI #2 6/30

The only hitch is insurance. If you have coverage, it can take a few days (or 1-2 weeks) to get approval from your insurance company after the RE submits his/her treatment plan to them. 4 Clomid+TI = BFN; Clomid+IUI #1 = chemical; Clomid+acupuncture+IUI #2, #3=BFN; HSG 4/08-- All clear; SA-- looks good, but morph. "okay"; 5/08 Bravelle+Ovidrel+b2bIUIs = BFN; on a break due to cysts......

Late response, but our RE requires that we go to an injectibles "class" before starting, and the classes are only offered on Tuesdays at 1:00. Way inconvenient. (DH and I signed up for one several months ago just in case!) Anyways, just wanted to bring up something else you may encounter. GL!
