Traveling w/injectables - airports | Thread profile

I travel with my job and I'm going out of town this weekend (short trip just a couple days) but I was wondering if anyone has had any issues with airport security and injectables (the syringes & meds) - I looked online and I know they will let me carry it on but I didn't know if they give you a hassle. I packed my menopur in my suitcase and didn't have any problems. Not sure about carrying it on. Now that I look back, that was dumb of me. Good thing they didn't loose my luggage! I had no issues. I had them in my carry on on my way to my destination and in my check-in luggage on my way back. on our last trip, we went through three airports, two large, one small, carrying an insulated bag with ice packs and follistim with needles, and it was never a problem. they didn't stop us once. just went right through!
