I just happened to tune in to " mad money" last evening and Sirius was being discussed. I thought I heard Cramer say if you don't want to pay Stern's salary buy smdi, a component mfg. co. that supplies Sirius parts for their radios. I think I also heard him say Stern sold his Sirius stock. I was wondering if that is true? I know he recieved stock, and could sell it if he chose to, but was unaware ...

I didn't get to see Mad Money last night. Did Cramer say he sold all his shares, sold shares, or registered his shares to sell? And if did he say "sold", did he mention when Stern moved his shares? What about Buchwald's shares?

I think I heard him say he "dumped his stock". He was talking very quickly, but I'm pretty sure it was something to that effect. I know his shares are already registered, so I don't believe that was at issue.

Look, I doubt he will dump all of the shares, especially at the current price. But ...

If, but more than likely when, he sells some or all of his shares, there will be no doubt about it. You will be sure to know. There will be lots of talk about it.

The street won't know until after the deal is done, as long as he does not move so many shares that its impossible to move them all at once.

I think as long as Howard announces he is selling and why (for tax purposes only) there should be no adverse consequences. Now if he were to sell the whole lot at once, that's a different story.
