Actually, I don't think I would need automatic syncing anyway, because I work from my home and hardly require more than reading my eMail at the bistro, which can be done without mobile.me. BUT, I was able to get a nifty eMail addy - icke@me.com - which not only uses ecki in reverse, but icke also mean "I" in the Berlin dialect, so..... But mobile.me calendar ...

smart-alec!!! ;) But yes, I did explain that syncing the calendar is a function of the account ... so, under accounts one can disable it. I guess, I was looking for something a tad more obvious, like a mobile.me icon ... alas, it worked. Now, having disabled the calendar syncing, what else would I do with mobile.me? I have never had an iDisk for slide shows or ...

I'm one of the few who really don't need ALL the features of the iPhone. But I would like one for its user friendly cell phone and ease of synching contact and calendar info with the Mac. I'm almost always in range of accessible wi-fi. All the other stuff is much less important. Therefore, if I could justify the switch to a different carrier and the resulting ...
