We've used Comcast, Directv and Dish. Have had Dish for many years now solely for the indian channels. Menu's etc, all are pretty unrefined. Isn't particularly great when it rains either. Would not be happy if it was the primary service used. Had Comcast for many years. Everything was fine, pretty limited hd channels. Signal was somewhat noisy to my picky eye. Customer service blows. Have had Directv since Jan 08. Pretty much...

Comcast FTW. Never have any issues with it and the picture is great. "On demand" blows away anything that Direct TV offers. The standard HD-DVR box is great and you won't lose reception when it rains or gets cloudy like I always did with DirecTV. I have had both and the only thing I miss about DirecTV is the NFL package. Otherwise, it really seems inferior to me.
