There's a famous youtube video of a lion/buffalo/croc showdown (I think it has been posted here) called the Battle at Kruger. Yeah saw it flippin channels today. The commentary was pretty good, but the drama of the actual footage with the reactions of the observers is some real reality tv. good stuff. "To Hell And Back Reliability"

I've been fortunate to have been to South Africa twice over the years. Saw lions and a handful of buffalo up in the northern area a couple of times. The buffalo are VERY impressive. They are not the cattle like animals that many tourists think they are. They are aggressive and VERY tough. I felt safer around lions when carrying my .375 H&H, that I did when we were in close proximity to buffalo...
