I have no objection to Black Mask or Riddler, for example, but I only want them in if Nolan has a plan for them. So far he's been pretty good about only using the villians...

The Crow and The Black Mask should be in the next movie. And I totally agree with you. =) Batman SHOULD BE the main caracther in the next movie. =) BEST ACTING for Ledger =)

Yeah, the one downside of the Joker was he completely overshadowed Batman. I really like how that didn't happen in Begins, hopefully that will be the case in part 3 (if there is one).

The Penguin could be a good fit, I agree, especially how the arc of the overall trilogy is how the rouges gallery came to control organized crime in Gotham. I don't see how Freeze or PI could work, frankly, but I'd be open to hearing you out.

For Poison Ivy, I was thinking along the lines of Scarecrow, where she's an otherwise normal person who centers her crimes around toxins and poisonous plants. She doesn't have to be "transformed" into Poison Ivy like in Batman & Robin. I remember hearing somewhere that Clayface was originally just a mobster who was good at making himself look like other people (makeup, wigs, etc.). I don't think he would be a good antagonist. NO Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy, Harley Quinn, Bane, Clayface, Catwoman, or Robin. I think Riddler and Penguin would be an awesome combination because they are so different.
