I don't think a liver could handle it.

That much alcohol would definitely kill you faster. But if you're trying to justify your pack-a-day habit, don't bother.

The comparisson is more like 6 beers or 20 cigarettes

I'm not, Miyagi. Someone said this to me, so I thought I'd throw it out there. How is that more of a comparison, Mike?

Yeah, if you take out 8 hours a day for sleeping, 20 beers in a day means 1.25 beers per waking hour- that's like a never-ending buzz.

Would it change your answer? This was said to me in a conversation about smoking bans in bars. That you're allowed to drink yourself to death, but if some one smokes 20 cigarettes near you, it's not acceptable! Again, just thought I'd throw it out there.
