We travelled just a half hour. We always spend the 4th with my wife's family since they normally have an organized get together. this year it was hosted by my wife's uncle. It was pleasant enough, though as I try to lose weight, I'm denying myself the opportunity to really pig out when there are lot's of choices like we had.
